Deceased Name: Ida Popkin Lurye Ida Popkin Lurye, 92, Sun City, Ariz., died Wednesday,
Feb. 26, 1997, in Sun City. She was born in Superior on Jan. 1, 1905. She was preceded
in death by her husband, Sam Lurye. She is survived by three sisters, Susan
Goldstein of Superior, Rose Rich of Rochester, Minn., and Jeanette Popkin of
San Diego; a brother, Henry James of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and seven nieces and
nephews. Arrangements were by Sunland Mortuary in Sun City.
